It is reported that Ukraine Cabinet of Ministers approved on October 26 a concept to implement a mechanism of selling coal on a Ukrainian exchange and published the text of its respective direction on its web site on October 31.

SMR: Indo-German Cooperation Project to Assess Role of Indian MSMEs in Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.

On behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has launched a project jointly with the Indian Ministry of MSME to assess the impact of climate change on competitiveness, innovation and business potential for Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Fresh coal stocks for power plants despatched-02 November 2011,The Hindu

PUNE: The Union ministry of environment and forests (MoEF) has extended the moratorium on consideration of infrastructure projects in Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts till December 31, 2011 as the ministry is considering a report submitted to it by the Western Ghats ecology expert panel (WGEEP).

NEW DELHI: For those eyeing the energy sector for jobs, solar energy companies could just be their next big destination. To fulfil targets of 20,000 MW of installed capacity under the National Solar Mission, the Indian solar energy industry will need an estimated 1 lakh people by 2022 across domains, profiles and levels. That as the sector invests nearly Rs 4,337 crore by the end of the mission period.
